August Dahlia CSA-Bi-Weekly
Calling all Dahlia Lovers! Get the very best of our field—our mixed bouquets will focus on these beauties (dahlias) and include any other late summer flowers and textures.
Start time is August. I will send an email in the middle of July or about 3 weeks before the first bouquet is ready. If you need them delivered that can be arranged. We would just use those 3 weeks prior to work on the delivery dates before the start of the subscription.
A couple Pick up options that worked for Dahlia CSA members last summer: Pick up at the Red Wing Farmers market on Saturdays, or Farmstand pick ups in Haycreek.
CSA stands for “Community Supported Agriculture”OR locally grown locally supported flowers. This means you pay upfront for a certain amount of bouquets, delivered or picked up Bi-weekly throughout the growing season. Pick and choose which month you want to receive flowers in from August – October. Your purchase aids our farm in buying seeds and other supplies used throughout the growing season. Because subscribers are making an investment in our farm, we offer them the freshest, most beautiful blooms each week during the share.
What can you expect:
A gorgeous Dahlia Bouquet handpicked and full of dahlias every other week in August. Bi-Weekly means 2 bouquets. We can start the first week of August or the Second.
You can expect your bouquet to be wrapped in craft paper with flower food to keep them fresh and given the best success to last. I can always include a vase as needed.
